In accordance with recommendations made by FDA, pregnant women are advised to limit fish intake in their diet.
The reason being the presence of large amount mercury in fish, which harms the neurological development of fetuses .
On the other hand, fish is rich in nutrient called n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid which is important for infant’s neurocognitive development, that decides your baby’s IQ.
So, now after reading this what we’ll have is ......a confused would be mother.
Should she take fish or not?...Is there somebody to help her?

Seriously... doesnt it make you wonder how the it is in Japan? My Japanese boss claims that women still eat sushi (with raw fish) even during pregnancy.
