Regent Products Corporation in collaboration with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has voluntarily called back the Stuffed Fun Balls. The balls contain lead paint and hence are toxic which would further lead to health hazard if ingested by kids.
The toy is an orange stuffed ball with four inches of diameter and bears a resemblance to a basket ball.
The ball is printed with colored numbers and letters, as well as “Reg. #PA-10623(HK)”. About 7,200 of the $1 balls were sold in Dollar Stores and other discount retailers nationwide from June, 2006 through March, 2007.
If you are in possession of these balls, it would be suitable to return it to the store where it was purchased for a refund.
