Reading has a very different and subliming influence on your young ones. Here are few tips on what to expect and how to make reading an experience of happiness and growth of every age:
Babies and toddlers
1. What they love about books- opening and shutting up of books, bright colors, cool pictures, chewing of cardboards etcetera.
2. What they’ll be learning- how books work, reading style is from left to right, books can tell stories, stories have beginning and ending.
What can you do:
Read loud for them.
Keep it as brief as possible.
Interact with the book and your child simultaneously.
If the child grabs book from your hand for playing let her/him pursue it.

Illustrations of real things
Always remain patient, be flexible with your approach towards children. Don’t force your child to reading some may not like the idea. And then you will discover that sitting with children along with books is a great fun.
