The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has asked Infantino LLC, the manufacturer of the product to pull it off from the market owing to safety hazards. According to them the product is not safe enough for the plastic slider on the fabric strap is likely to break causing the baby to fall out of the carrier.

The manufacturers received around 10 reports of breaking sliders, in which around eight babies got injuries that included severe ones like fractures in the skull. Post this, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission banned the product from the market.
