Here is yet another reason that is quite alarming for single or unwed mothes. This is a research, which shows that babies of single or unwed mothers are more vulnerable to succumb to an unexplained death like cot death.
The chances of an under one-year-old baby dying from SIDS increases manifold in case his parents are not married.
Estimated figures reveal that young teenage mothers or the mothers leading an unprivileged life are more likely to loose there babies to this sudden death, in comparison to married mums aged between 30 to 34.
No doubts this trend has shown a decrease over the years but still, authorities have plans to work over this situation and come up with some kind of a solution.
