Michelle Cuthrell, a freelance writer, writes about what were her plans before she gave birth to her baby and how her plans changed after she gave birth to her first baby. In a nutshell, new moms find it hard to match pre-planned schedules with the unpredictable demands of the baby. Therefore, it is wiser for a new mom to monitor her baby’s routine calls for feeding, cleaning or changing and sleep, note the timings in a diary; and then co-ordinate or work up a routine that would fall into place with the timings and schedule of your baby.
