baby-trend-back-pack-carriers_50Baby Trend Inc., of Ontario, California, in collaboration with the Consumer Product Safety Commission, is voluntarily recalling their Baby Trend Back Pack Carriers.

The stitching on the straps can loosen or detach leading the carrier to move or letting children to fall. There has been one report of a child falling and bruising their forehead, as well as 17 reports of shoulder straps loosening.

Backpacks that have been summoned are, green and silver in color with heavy duty nylon and a light weight steel frame.

Only those carriers with style numbers 2512 and 2592LX are being recalled. These backpacks were sold at department and children’s products stores across the country from March 2002 through November 2006 for about $50.

Incase you posses, ant one of these, it would be advisable to get in touch with the manufacturer for a free replacement.
