A lot is being heard about the Japan’s Imperial Household. The latest in the in the news world is the news that Princess Kiko is pregnant. And this news has raised the probabilities of getting the first male heir to the Chrysanthemum Throne in 40 years. Princes Kiko already has two daughters aged 14 and 11.
As there was no male hier to the throne, prospects were that Naruhito’s 4-year-old daughter, Aiko, could one day take the throne. And this would mean breaking the law of 1947 that did not allow females to take the thrown.
But the news of Princess Kiko being pregnant has brought rays of hopes to see a male heir to the throne.
But what if she too delivers a baby girl? I think if Japan is destined to see the women power...then no one can change it.
