HandwritingThey say that you can judge a person by his handwriting...but in the case of kids I don’t think the judgment will be perfect as most of the primary schools are devoting no time and effort to improve student’s handwriting.

Neither the schools provide proper training to the students to improvise upon writing style nor they pay any attention to improve their writing speed, says a study conducted by London University’s Institute of Education

Schools are ignoring the importance of a legible and clear handwriting in the overall development of a child. Very few schools have a formal handwriting policy and a negligible number of schools make sure to set aside practice time.

A Department for Education and Skills is looking forward to make strategies to encourage schools to pay attention to the role played by a good handwriting in the academic development of a child.

“We support schools in meeting these requirements through the primary national strategy, which provides clear, well-paced objectives on developing handwriting and the correct formation of letters”, says a spokesperson.

Even parents should pay special attention towards their child’s handwriting skills and work together with schools to make it better.
