Pregnant women having Diabetes have yet another challenge to face, and this time it is related to their new born.
Such women are at a higher risk of giving birth to still babies, and this risk is around five times more than the normal women, according to a study made by the Confidential Enquiry into Maternal and Child Health(CEMACH).
So this comes as a call to make the expecting mothers with diabetes rather more aware and give them proper counseling during the pre-pregnancy period.
Here I would like to add that, apart from repeating about the causes and risks, which does nothing but make the mothers loose hope,something that is required is, proper guidance and precautions, so that diabetes may not effect their baby and they can plan out a healthy pregnancy.
