The baby girl who was rescued on Saturday from a black Plastic bag floating in a lake in Brazil and kept in a hospital is in great demand. Number of parents have been crowding the hospital to adopt the baby.



The mother of the baby was arrested on Sunday on the charge of attempt to murder, to which she denies. As per the mother she handed over the baby to a group of homeless people as she didn’t had enough means to raise the baby.

“I asked them to leave the baby in some place for me, because I did not want to see it,” she said.



For the time being the baby s handed over to the local child protection authorities and the juvenile court’s verdict will be considered final as to whom should be the baby handed over to- a family or to a shelter. Let’s hope wherever the baby goes...she gets the best possible upbringing.
