Even I thought that kids love holidays irrespective of the fact what’s the occasion or when are they falling, until I read this study at Guardian. The study revealed that there is a holiday period that kids like the least...this is the Half term break in October. The kids have officially regarded it as the most boring. The factors that add into the boring spirit of this break are as follows:
1. The weather out is very cold so the kids have to remain snuggled inside their homes.
2. The only resort to their entertainment is either the TV or the computer.
3. Parents are in a financial crunch at this period of the year, as they have to save money for the Christmas break, so they cannot take the kids out.
Agreed to all the factors that act constraint for parents from taking their kids out...but I think parents should work it p in a way that kids understand that spending fun time is rather important than going out...so plan some exiting stuff right inside the home and make the best even out if this not so good break.
