Yesterday I blogged about kids phones from NTT DoCoMo and this post is going to be an updating one. One of the features of the cell phone is that it comes with a 100 decible alarm. This is an automatic calling function targeted to avoid the increasing number of crime against kids. The mobile phone will call up to three pre set numbers at regular intervals once the phone gets activated.



Parents who sign up for the “imadoco” search (”Where are you now?”) location service, to be offered for 210 yen per month, can set their phones to automatically receive e-mail messages, updated intervals, that track a child’s location.

The new handset, the FOMA SA800i, will be available from March between 20,000yen and 30,000 yen.
