First it was Angelina Jolie going Cambodia to adopt a baby, then it was Madoona heading to Malawi and now this come as a the latest fad...with Celebs looking towards the third world countries as a major place to pamper the feeling of motherhood by presenting themselves a baby from these poverty stricken lands. But as of now...Scottish couples have been banned from going in for adoption in these poverty-stricken foreign lands. The measure taken to put a full stop the illegal purchase of infants or for that matter taking babies without the permission of their parents and most importantly to avoid the mad rush of rich couples reaching out to these countries for adoption with a view to emulate their fav celebs. It is being observed that most of the rich celebs eye the third world countries only because the adoption laws here are not very strict...but from now onwards a couple trying to get a baby from the third world countries might have to face up to a year in jail and a £5,000 fine, as per the law proposed by the Scottish Parliament.
