With a hope to track the online activities of your kid and to keep him off the cyber crimes taking place in chatrooms, IMs and social m\networks, UK businessman Alex Hewitt has launched a revolutionary Net ID card in the UK, US, Canada and Australia.
Kids online can swap this $10 worth card every time they are entering a chatroom or IM, making it harder for adults to pose as children online.
The card will verify the age and identity of the child’s online friends, thereby improving the online security standards by not letting adults to exploit, groom and abuse children over the internet.
Seems to be a cool idea but will help at its best only if both the online friends who intent to chat have the cards and have swapped them. Therefore, all the parents must ensure that they have got a NET ID card for their kid if keeping him safe is on their mind.
