Japan is all set to show some special care towards the pregnant mommies in the country. And as a first step in to their mission they have launched the special ‘Maternity Marks’ for the would-be-mommies.
If you are guessing what are these marks then here’s a low down: ‘Maternity Marks’ are tags to be worn by pregnant mommies to get special care and attention while traveling alone during the delicate months of pregnancy.
Government has designed its own Maternity Mark graphic, but individual cities can design their own symbols.
Maternity Mark is the face of a mission from Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare called “Healthy Parent and Child 21 that aims at pampering pregnant women in the light of the fact that Japan’s birthrate is falling at a great pace.
