Feeding your baby other than, milk not only adds on to the nutritional benefits but also is a stepping-stone in shaping his tastes for long run.
Studies have shown that children of mothers who do not allow a single morsel of junk food into the mouth of their young ones develops into much healthier adults than average. In fact, most of them would shun junk food since their developing tastes and intestines had been programmed to the tastes of real foods. This is also a major cause of gassy belly.
Hence, here are a few tips that would ease your kido’s gassy belly:
1. Give frequent feedings to your baby instead of one go. If babies take in more than the required amount, the undigested food ferments in the lower intestines and thus produces gas.
2. Give him food that is least likely to cause an allergic reaction, like, carrots, squash, pears, applesauce, apricots etc.
3. Prefer giving them nutrient-dense foods. But before giving, make sure that the child is not allergic to any of them.
4. Give your child lots of fluids to keep his digestive tract moving smoothly so that he doesn’t experience constipation.
