Yes, the movie turned out to be really scary for kids. Despite the fact that parents accompanied their kids to the theatre the kids were scared except some who really had a liking for gruesomeness. Spooky, nose less and barely recognizable Ralph Fiennes as Lord Voldemort was one thing that scared the kids apart from those fearsome dragons, casual murders and men hacking off their own hands in weird satanic rituals.
I think the movie precisely delivers on the promise of being deeper, darker and more deadly.
