In order to make quick bucks, teenagers are trying their luck into the field of gambling. Ontario’s latest study has postulated the growing craze for gambling among teens and the results were really appalling.
Of the 2140 teens, aged 15-17 surveyed, one third of them were already gambling.
1. 40% are playing poker.
2. 36% purchase raffle tickets / scratch & win lottery tickets.
3. 23% are into sports betting.
4. While 15% to 10% play dice for money and online gambling.
In most of the cases, parents are unaware of their child’s move. All they need is proper guidance and understanding which they can get from their first institution, that is, home.
