How does your baby sit in the buggies and strollers? Facing you or facing away. Facing away the parents is the usual manner in which most parents make their babies sit. But, a new study has put a question mark on this fad. According to a British research, babies who face away from their parents in buggies might have their brain development compromised.
Such a style of making your baby can render your children emotionally isolated and leave them with a poor language in later life. Reason being the fact that while sitting away from you, the baby doesn’t interact with the parent driving the buggy. And this lack of motivating talking, laughing and interacting with a parent can undermine baby’s brain development.
So next ime you buy a buggy for your baby, make sure it is a face-to-face stroller. As in such a stroller your baby will laugh more, interact more, thus they are less stressed. Also, they will learn to talk well only when they are talked to by the parents. So, why let go of such an important opportunity of your child’s growth and make him a emotionally isolated grown-up, when the solution is right in his buggy!
