Tracey Spicer, the 38-year-old Newsreader poured down her heart as her son Taj Jack turned one this month. Taj was born after much complications and a difficult pregnancy...all thanks to the delay that the lady did in planning out for the baby.
Too much engrossed in her broadcasting career at Brisbane Radio Station 4BH, like any other prototypical career oriented women, Tracey kept baby at the back seat. And when she woke up to the realization at 33, that she should have a baby now...biology and time were working against her.
“It took us five years to conceive and once I did finally get pregnant there were lots of complications,”
“I’m a very educated woman and I thought I knew all the issues but I was ignorant about biological function.
“Look, you may think at 33 that you’re quite young but I’m afraid that, in some cases, that’s not young enough.
“I would urge women who do want a family not to leave it too late. We forget that having a child is a miracle.”
Very true...Tracey realized it just on time, but it was tough for her. But if you too are one such female who is deeply engrossed in making a career...just give yourself a break and think once...if you want a baby “Don’t leave it too late.”
