BratzHave you seen that commercial Ad for “Bratz Babies’? It promotes a plastic baby doll that is layered with whole lot of gaudy make up and tons of rhinestone jewelry... all that did nothing more than making that baby look like a sex-obsessed creature rather than making it look cute in any way.

ProgressiveU has asked a question on this very subject, it goes like this: Why the heck should BABIES be sexy?

I think it’s not the first time that it has been done... Barbie is being sold since years in that ’sexy-avatar’ of a girl, despite the fact that it is just a doll made for small girls.

But keeping my post in the periphery of the answer to the question I would say that it’s not appropriate to present such an image. For this kind of a presentation stuffs these little minds with thoughts like they have to be like them when they grow up. Kids have a tendency of copying the super heroes and the beauty-goddesses.

And toys like these give them an inspiration to become a super hero or a beauty goddess and rue the world. There mind gets infused with thoughts like it is these kind of images only that are successful and so they follow them plainly.

Would you like dressing up your cute little girl in a ’sexy-avatar’ and do you think toys portraying such an image are in anyway harmful for kids?
