remember if you are struggling on the war front, you kid has to fight the battle against the anxiety of being alone, the anger of being abandoned and above all he has to do all that all alone.
So being a parent it’s your duty to make your kid understand...support him in this hour when he needs you. Talk to him...discuss with him the real situation. Make him understand that the front needs you more than him. Assure him that you will be always in touch with him through letters.
Make him open his heart before you and once they do clear all of his doubts honestly. Keep sending him goodies now and then, so that he remains occupied and do every possible thing to make him feel near you.
