An article in wiki lists out twenty reasons not to have children and these reasons to speak out the commitment, hassles, restrictions and reservations of a couple that comes along with the birth of a child. The other ten reasons list down the joy of bringing up a child and the experiences of learning and teaching them a set of values.
However, I feel that these thirty reasons is not any reason as to why one should have or have not any child, but yes it does depend on what sort of a marital life a couple is leading that can give them a basis to think of having a child, not for the heck of it but because rearing child is also an institution as getting together socially in marriage...the act of moving from self to taking responsibility of something too significant.
