If child abuse is a dark reality...even darker and graver is the fact that Korean kids are abusing their mothers. Abuse to mothers come in any form including beating them, swearing at, hitting and kicking them and what not.
And the common reason that go behind this kind of mannerism can be anything from not allowing them to play or use the computer or coaxing the boys to study. Some mothers also complaint of being threatened to be killed.
This kind of extreme defiance towards the mothers is a typically Korean phenomenon. As per the counselors, it is the heightened intervention on the part of mothers, which make the kids extremely irritated. According to psychiatrists, this type of behaviour is common among kids hailing from families where mother and father are really close or father is the sole bread earner and mothers stay at home all the day and end up being extra critical about their kids...making them fussy and problematic.
The worst aspect of this problem, which actually need a serious solution is that Korean mothers re not ready to respond back and open up on this issue. No doubts it is humiliating but don’t you think that reaching to a solution is impossible without discussing this problem at length?
