Booster SeatsEvery year Britain faces around 2000 child deaths and injuries owing to improper child safety rules. With a view to combat this ever increasing figure, European Commission has announced the compulsory requirement of child car seats and booster cushions for most under 10’s. This regulation will be a hard law by September.

As per the regulation, all the kids over three and shorter than 4ft 5in will have to use a booster cushion, child seat or a suitable child restraint while traveling in a car with seat belts.

Parents stop using these child safety accessories once their kids turn three, forgetting a fact that it is till 10 that kids require these special safety arrangements for they are too small to use those made for adults.
