Why some people write with their right hand while others are adroit with left, is a fact reason behind which remains a matter of curiosity for most of us. You will be surprised to know that which hand a baby might use is decided in the very initial stages of his development in the womb. It is directly linked to the weight of a baby at the time of birth.
Babies who receive adequate amount of nutrition during the pregnancy and consequently have a higher birth weight are more likely to be right handed, while the others become left-handed.
This is not the only factor but no doubts a major factor in the left-handed phenomenon.
