But on a serious note, is it safe to let a kid drive a diesel powered car at the age of 9? Would you allow your lttle one to do so?

Mmm. It’s a bit expensive. And the diesel engine’s not going to be very responsive (I hate diesels, such a narrow power band) but it looks good. Personally I bought my daughter a 50cc Suzuki quad bike the Christmas after her fifth birthday. She loved it. Drove into the fence a couple fo times but soon learned not to! Outgrown it now. At the awkward stage wher she’s too small to drive a regular car (12) but there’s nothing on the market that you can buy with a proper clutch ledal and gearbox (stickshift) that can be driven by a twelve year old.
