At this time of the year when most of the kids are busy finalizing their Christmas wishlists and decorating their stockings...you will be shocked to read that there are around 127,992 children in England, who will wake up homeless on Christmas Day.Yes, this is a fact and a real harsh fact.
Other than these kids who are homeless...those who manage have a roof to hide themselves are living under pathetic conditions. The houses that are not worth calling houses...they are simply unfit for human habitation. And the impact of living in such unhygienic conditions can be seen very clearly on their health and education.Life for them is real tough for them from security angle as well. It looks as if these kids are pushed and packed in the small rooms where the dark and dingy surroundings make it hard for them even to breathe... and they are spending their life their.
Though the government is trying to make things easier for them...but that will take time. Till then can we do something to improve their lives?...Its true that we cannot bring them home...but we can at least make some efforts to make their existing homes somewhat better places for their survival. Lets do something this year so that they may celebrate next Christmas in their own sweet homes.
