Leap Year



One of my friends was really worried for his son who was very upset for he cannot celebrate his birthday every year for he was born in a leap year on 29th February. This way he can celebrate his original birthday only after waiting for four long years. So we decided to think of ten things that are good about being born in Leap Year. We made a list...made him read that...and guess what he is happy now.

So if you too have some friends or kids born in a leap year make him read this...and trust me they’ll never have birthday blues.



1. First and fore most... tell him he’s unique, special and exceptional, for a person has only a one-in-1,506 chance of being born on Feb. 29.



2. He’ll be just 16 on his 64th birthday...must say, a good way to stay young.



3. He has a choice to choose the date when he would like to celebrate his birthday...28th of February or 1st March...plus he can have a grand party on 29th February in every leap year.



4. Birthdays means parties and parties’ means expenditure, so he’ll be saving upon so much of hard cash every year...and with that he can buy himself a grand gift on his birthday every four years.



5. A boy can always prefer to fall in love with a lady four years elder to him and if it is a baby girl she can keep away getting marriage proposals for some more years.



6. Since his/her birth date is unique so there are no chances that anyone would miss wishing the child.



7. When he’s celebrating his birthday in leap year he can include this on the invitation cards: Please Bring 4 gifts, the day will come after 3 years.



8. For him Birthday bumps will come only after four years while for others it’s a yearly affair.



9. At one time he’ll be smaller than his own kid...and that’s too rare.



10. He’ll get a driving license when he’s just four...and also he shares his birthday with something grand like Olympics.
